We are delighted to welcome Thiago Vasconcelos de Barros Ferraz to our research group! Thiago, a PhD student, joins us as part of an exchange program supported by FAPESP, Brazil. He will start his research with us on October 1 and brings with him a wealth of knowledge and expertise from the renowned electrochemistry group led by Prof. Hamilton Brandão Varela de Albuquerque at the Instituto de Química de São Carlos (IQSC), Universidade de São Paulo (USP) in São Carlos, SP, Brazil.
During his time with us, Thiago will be working on an exciting project titled: "SFG Evaluation of Emerging Interfacial Features During Electro-Oxidation of Ethanol in Seawater-Like Electrolytes." This project is supported by FAPESP and aims to deepen our understanding of interfacial phenomena in electrochemical systems and has the potential to contribute valuable insights into sustainable energy applications.
